The rules of the nest

Overview

These Terms are an agreement between you and the developer of record for Hootpocket (package com.easyconnect.hootpocket), governing your use of the app. By downloading, installing, or using Hootpocket, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the app.

Accounts

You can use Hootpocket entirely offline without an account. Creating one is optional and only needed for cloud sync across devices. You're responsible for the accuracy of your info, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under your account.

Acceptable use

When using Hootpocket, please don't:

• close Use the app unlawfully or to store content that infringes someone else's rights.
• close Reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app or the services it connects to.
• close Try to access another user's data, or circumvent purchase and licensing checks.

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate this section.

Your content

"Your content" means the items, tags, notes, photos, and links you add. You retain ownership of it and are responsible for having the right to store — and if you sync, upload — it. If you enable cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely to operate and sync the app. See the Privacy Policy for details on how that data is handled. We don't use your content for advertising or profiling.

Purchases & billing

Hootpocket may offer optional features through in-app purchases or subscriptions, processed via Google Play Billing. Prices are shown before purchase and charged through your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through Google Play's subscription settings — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. Refund requests are handled under Google Play's refund policy. We won't remove access to a feature you've already purchased without a reasonable alternative or refund path.

Intellectual property

Hootpocket's design, code, branding, and in-app assets are owned by us or our licensors. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on your own devices for personal, non-commercial use.

Termination

You can stop using Hootpocket anytime by uninstalling the app and, if you have an account, requesting deletion from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.

Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Hootpocket after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
